THE GYM HUB is a low-cost gym and part of the Impulse Leisure Group. Budget gyms are the biggest area of growth in the UK’s fitness industry, gaining popularity due to their flexible contracts and low cost. GYM HUB approached Shout to create advertising campaigns to promote their Wickford gym and to launch a new one in Worthing.

Our experienced team got to work on a shoot to deliver a 12-month advertising campaign. We dealt with everything in-house from concept to shoot through to post-production and delivery.

We got together with the GYM HUB marketing team for a strategy session, out of which the concept for an innovative campaign was born. Wanting to move away from the traditional images of beautifully sculpted bodies, we created a series of eye-catching gym personas.

Shout created a striking 12-month campaign centred around #whatsyourreason. We effectively injected a sense of fun into the GYM HUB brand identity through the use of gym personas. From the bride-to-be to the older guy that wants to stay sharp, the head-turning campaign was launched across billboards, buses, posters and train stations throughout the South East.
